Europalia China Art Festival 2009
Invited to Belgium as a cross cultural exchange between Europe and China, Nanmu Studio brought pieces from the scholar’s studio for Europalia’s 40th anniversary festival which took place at the Royal Museum of Art and History in Brussels. The exhibition was attended by leaders from both Belgium and China including Prince Albert and Xi Jinping.
Beijing National Museum Exhibition 2012
Entitled Beauty Resides in Time, Nanmu Studio was deeply honored to showcase 103 pieces from the scholar’s studio at the National Museum. Originally only planned to last one month, the exhibition was extended twice due to popular demand.
Beijing Guardian Auction 2013
Sixteen handcrafted pieces of furniture from Nanmu Studio were auctioned in this exclusive sale by a leading Chinese auction house. Sales from the auction garnered over twenty-two million RMB during the sold out event.
